Paper-based activities for the classroom

The following paper-based tasks and worksheets are designed to be used in a classroom situation. i.e. when no computer is available.

The paper-based tasks aim to develop young people's careers and employability skills.

There are three tasks with worksheets, as follows:

Task1: Images that reflect me

This activity will help young people think of the skills and abilities they have and also show them how other people see them.

Task 2: Which job?

This activity will help young people match names of jobs to photos of jobs and to identify the skills and abilities which will be useful for each of the 10 jobs shown.

Task 3: Jobs and their job sectors

This activity will help young people understand the range of job sectors and which jobs fit in which sectors, an extension activity requires young people to identify the skills and abilities which will be useful for the jobs shown on the Task 3 worksheet.

Task 3 - Which job sector?

All the tasks offer suggested extension activities using the Level-UP! site but these are optional. Extension activities could be completed in lessons or set as homework.
